Tony Gunn, Chief Pilot at Flywatch, has specialised in FAA/JAR flight training, examining and corporate aircraft acquisitions for over 30 years.

Tony has been an instructor on multi-engine aircraft for over 25 years and as a UK CAA Head of Training of FTOs in both the USA and the UK, has personally trained hundreds of clients for JAR and FAA licenses including CPL, ATP and IR.

Le Touquet/London Southend

From our Le Touquet base in France we can train you in your own or one of the Flywatch aircraft. Le Touqet is ideal for circuits and ILS training as the fee for each approach or landing is just a few euros. If you need a renewal, why not plan to visit us during one of your Le Touquet trips or pop across for training on our schedule service from Southend.

Flywatch AOC Pilot Training Program

Boost your career and qualify as a Flywatch Air Services PA-31 Line Captain.

Under this program you will be trained to the exacting standards of Flywatch Air Services and gain valuable single pilot IFR Commercial Operations.

With this certified training on your CV you will become a valuable asset to any AOC operator. In the event and at the time of your qualification, Flywatch Air Services has vacancies, a pilot successfully completing this course would have priority acceptance.

The course you will undertake is as follows;

Step 1- 1hr Initial interview with Flywatch Chief Pilot

Step 2 - PA-28 1.5hr assessment flight VFR cross channel London Southend to Le Touquet. 1.5hr IFR assessment flight Le Touquet to London Southend.

Step 3 - PA-28 5hr IFR Training course and operations manual part A, B, C, D, E training to JAR OPS1.

Step 4 - PA-31 Ground School

Step 5 - Ground Shool for single pilot CRM, First Aid, wet drills, fire, dangerous goods and security training.

Step 6 - Transition Training to PA-31 and Check A endorsement. 5 hrs in the sircraft.

Step 7 - Flywatch Air Services OPC check with company CRE 2hrs flying test in the PA-31

Step 8 - 10 hrs actual line training with Flywatch Air Services Training Captain on AOC operations.

Step 9 - Flywatch training certificates issued on completion and Flywatch offer a contract subject to vacancies or you apply to other operators for job opportunities.

Total Package cost - £8391.92 +VAT*

payable in full at commencement of training in the following stages.

Step 1 - Application form completed and submitted with payment - £70 + VAT*

Step 2 - If step 1 successful, payment of £734.98+VAT*

Once fully enrolled final payment of £7469.44 + VAT* prior to commencing step 3.

 

Pre Requisites for AOC Pilot Program Course

1. JAR FCL Valid Multi CPL IR

2. JAR FCL Valid Medical Class one

3. A minimum of 33hr multi engine piston time.

4. The program can be amended to account for previous experience
